Program info:

Future Construction Office Managers will learn how to leverage their current network, as well as city, county, state, and local resources to develop and broaden their skill set.  Through a carefully curated curriculum, students will learn: 

  • How to find projects to bid on; 

  • How to get on bid lists; 

  • Creating and utilizing a BidSync account; 

  • An overview of City of Detroit, Wayne County, State of Michigan, federal programs and other local units of government.

  • Information on getting their small business certified; and more.

  • Panel will include Developers, Government Buyers, and Large Contractor

Construction Office Manager Program brings together instructors and community partners to educate and provide resources to support office staff in construction contractors at each step in the process of helping to scale their current operations. 

The Construction Office Manager Series will be delivered in a hybrid model with most education remote, providing students with the opportunity to learn directly from home.
