If you’re a business owner looking to train and certify your personnel or you want to have better job opportunities, we have the program that works for you and your needs.
Let’s bring out Detroit’s full potential. In order to improve our city, we need trained and certified professionals in urban blight removal. Our ultimate goal is to certify and license professionals in this industry.
Detroit Training Center offers students a way into the blight removal industry through this program. This is a dramatically growing industry, especially in Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, and Pontiac because many houses are in need of lead and asbestos abatement for renovation and demolition. The courses selected for this program prepare the worker for the rigors of the job. Most of all, we provide them with the licensing, credentials, and soft skills needed to succeed in this particular workplace. As a result, we are able to help with job placement for our graduates.
